What Communications You Will Receive
Life Check Systems provides safety monitoring and compliance alerts through SMS text messages and automated voice calls. Based on your preferences, you may receive:
- Safety and compliance alerts (e.g., security check status, door alerts, emergency notifications)
- Two-factor authentication codes for secure login
- Account notifications
You may opt in to receive SMS messages, voice calls, or both through your user profile settings.
SMS Text Messages
Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your role and your organization’s configured alert rules. Most users receive 0-5 messages per day. During high-activity periods with multiple active alerts, you may receive up to 100 messages per day.
How to Opt Out of SMS
Reply STOP to any message. You will receive a confirmation and will no longer receive SMS alerts. To resubscribe, reply START. You can also disable SMS alerts at any time through your user profile settings, or by contacting your organization’s administrator.
Pausing SMS Alerts
To temporarily pause SMS alerts, reply PAUSE followed by a duration in hours or a date (e.g., “PAUSE 48” for 48 hours, or “PAUSE Jan 15”). Reply START to resume immediately.

Voice Calls
Frequency
Voice call frequency varies based on your role, your organization’s configured alert rules, and your escalation settings. Calls are typically placed when alerts require immediate attention.
How to Opt Out of Voice Calls
You can disable voice call alerts at any time through your user profile settings, or by contacting your organization’s administrator.
Consent to Automated Calls
By opting in to receive voice calls, you consent to receive autodialed and/or prerecorded calls from Life Check Systems at the phone number you provide. These calls are for safety alert purposes only and are not for marketing.
Costs
- SMS: Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details.
- Voice: Standard call charges may apply depending on your phone plan.
Your Privacy
Your phone number and information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Information collected through our SMS and voice communications programs will only be used to deliver the safety and compliance services you have requested.

SMS and voice alerts are provided as part of Life Check Systems’ safety monitoring services. Complete terms governing the use of our platform are provided to each customer organization as part of their service agreement.
