Life Check Systems ensures school security policies are followed 100% of the time. If they are not, the system notifies management in real time by phone call, text, and email so corrective action can be taken. Affix our all-weather, quarter-sized tags to interior and/or exterior surfaces with rivets or security screws at all sensitive areas that should be continuously checked in-person while students are present (e.g., all exterior doors, key perimeters, parking lots, vulnerable windows, bathrooms, storage areas, etc.).
Require any locations or groups of locations to be checked on any schedule (e.g., every 48 mins; x and z every 18 hrs; these daily; those weekly; one of those monthly, etc.). Schedule policies to automatically start and/or repeat, require photos, videos, and/or observations at certain places or times.
Personnel executing policies must physically touch an LCS mobile device to a mounted location tag to log a check. LCS uploads all data in real time to our secure server network which monitors policies to push local alerts and initiate calls, texts, and/or emails to custom groups of contacts. Detailed reports can be auto-emailed daily.

In order to provide accurate notices, Life Check devices must be online. Devices are preprogrammed to connect to multiple Wi-Fi networks (i.e., multiple schools), but are not limited to Wi-Fi. Each device has a Verizon cellular service connection that automatically connects if Wi-Fi is not available. So, Life Check can provide live access and notices for patrols that include schools in multiple locations (or on college campuses between Wi-Fi access points).

Any law enforcement or security agency, individual school, school district, or other educational organization—public or private–can use Life Check. A county Sheriff’s Office can implement Life Check at schools with or without SROs to ensure policies are followed and documented. For schools with officers, Life Check allows management to be certain that officers are present and actively patrolling.
For county schools without SROs, the sheriff can install location tags at multiple schools and create policies that require patrol officers to travel between schools conducting and logging checks. The schedule is 100% customizable, so the frequency of checks can be altered to accommodate each organization’s staffing levels.
Private schools with or without security staff can purchase and operate Life Check at a single school site or among multiple buildings on a larger campus. Any staff member can learn to use Life Check regardless of prior training or background. From the end-user’s perspective, it is as simple as following the prompts on the mobile device.
